In what is considered the first of its kind, a jersey sponsorship has been formed between the Marshalltown Community College Esports team and the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce.  Tourism Director Dylan Does announced yesterday afternoon that the Meet in Marshalltown and the MCC Esports team has signed a multi-year agreement for the jersey sponsorship.

They believe this to be the first of its kind of partnership between a collegiate esports team and a tourism organization.  The MCC Esports Department received the inaugural Meet in Marshalltown Tourism Champion Award in June 2025 for its work hosting the Iowa High School Esports Association State Showdown, held three times annually in Marshalltown since September 2023.
