Announced yesterday by the committee set to fill the County Supervisor Vacancy, Christian Goodman, son of Kevin Goodman, is set to fill Kevin Goodman’s seat. The committee interviewed 8 different candidates for the position and voted unanimously to have Christian fill the seat.
The press release says, “Christian’s thoughtful answers to the committee’s questions, initiative in pursuing information about the Supervisor position, experience as a volunteer firefighter, fiscal and management experience as a small business operator, positive attitude, and humility led the committee to select him.” It goes on to say, “his vision for leadership, public service, and community growth will ensure that every decision he makes is informed, careful, and made in the public’s best interest.”
Christian will be sworn into his position on Wednesday, February 11th at 8:30am. According to a committee member, he did mention he plans to run for the final two years of the seat in November.
