The Marshalltown Garden Club has been around since 1912, Jean Klosterman with the Marshalltown Garden Club says they have done a wide variety of things in the community in their over 100 years of existence.

The Marshalltown High School added a new greenhouse when they made updates to their Career and Technical Education (CTE) area. they gave a $1,000 donation to the High School.

Klosterman says the money comes from their annual membership fee and the plant sales that they hold in May and September.  Klosterman says supporting the new Greenhouse was an easy decision.
