Recently the Marshalltown Park and Recreation opened up applications for their summer jobs with the Aquatic Center and Summer Blast.  Here is Recreation Supervisor Jenni Hart.

Anyone applying to be a lifeguard will be able to take a lifeguarding class for free as long as you work for the Marshalltown Aquatic Center over the summer.  She says there will be two classes offered before June.  Hart then talks about age requirements, first with Summer Blast staff.

Concession staff at the Aquatic Center can be as young as 14 years old.

All Summer Staff will be trained in CPR and First Aid.  Anyone interested in applying can find the application at Marshalltownparkandrec.com
