It’s that time of year again, the Marshalltown Police Department is holding their annual Citizens Academy. Last year was the first year that Captain Sadie Weekley oversaw the program and she says this year she has worked in more time with two divisions, Detective and School Resource.
Starting March 17th this 10 week course will have citizens learn all about what the Marshalltown Police Officers go through each day. This program also allows citizens to ask questions and fully understand the process police follow.
This is a free course for citizens and to get signed up people need to reach out to Captain Weekley at the Police Department.
She says this is a great program for anyone who may be interested in becoming a Police Officer. Learn more by reaching out to the Marshalltown Police Department
