Locally people who are in need of a hot meal can find one six nights of the week at the House of Compassion, Sunday – Friday. Jasmine Spikes is the Executive Director and she says they have some openings for people to volunteer and make a meal.
Spikes says there is a list of openings on their Facebook page that people can look at. The best way to sign up is to contact Spikes.
Volunteers get to pick the menu when they help out, and most volunteers are not making a full 5 course meal.
People can learn more about the House of Compassion by visiting their Facebook page called House of Compassion.
