Did you know that you can check out snow shoes from the Grimes Farm and hike around in the snow. For just $5 a day and a deposit of $50, people can rent out snow shoes and use them for a max of 72 hours.
If you want to try out snowshoeing for free, there is an event coming in January. January 15th from 10 – 11am, the County Conservation will offer a chance to try snowshoeing in Marshall County. Registration deadline is January 13th, head to marshallcountyia.gov to learn more and sign up
