Last night the Bobcat Boys swim team was set to face off against the Fort Dodge Dodgers at the Marshalltown High School Pool.  Due to the weather, the Dodgers bus needed to turn around and that meet was cancelled.  The Boys will be back in the pool this Saturday for the Bobcat Invite which was postponed due to weather a week ago.

The Marshalltown Bobcat Boys and Girls wrestling teams had their first home dual of the season as the Ottumwa Bulldogs were in town.  The girls had a total of 3 pins, none better than Charlotte Reyes who pinned Maiya Barnes in 7:25 in double overtime.  The girls fall as a team 51-27.  On the Boys side it was pin city as the boys rack up 8 total pins.  JJ Schoenfelder had the fastest pin of the night as it only took him 10 seconds.  The boys beat up on the Bulldogs, 60-15. The girls will travel to Boone Saturday for 1 final tournament before winter break.  The boys will head to Pella on Saturday for their final tournament.

Tonight the Marshalltown Bobcats will have a doubleheader on the hardwood in the Roundhouse.  The Bobcats will be hosting the Dodgers from Fort Dodge.  Both games will be aired on KFJB-TV starting with pregame for the girls at 6pm with Voice of the Bobcats Brandon Lewis and Everyone’s Favorite Dylan Does.  The girls game will lead right into the boys game, you can catch it on KFJB-TV’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
