Things are happening around Miller Middle School as the land is getting prepped for the renovations that will occur over the next few years.  Shuana Smith, Executive Director of Educational Services, says one of the first things added to Miller Middle School is a new auxiliary gym.

She says the whole building will look brand new once the updates are complete.  Smith says her job has her looking at the updates through the lens of high-quality learning experiences and the conditions of the classroom.

Smith wants more space to allow for more movement within the classroom

As we continue to inch closer to the summer, more and more renderings of Miller Middle School will be shared.  The auxiliary gym should start construction next year and be done around the start of school in August.
