Every year the Fraternal Order of Police do Shop with a Cop with local youth. Sargant Justin Allen says all of the officers enjoy this project and it is fully funded by donations.
Sargant Allen says they have a goal to raise $6,000 so they can shop with 60 youth as each youth get a $100 budget. He then talks about how they find the youth to shop for.
The Fraternal Order of Police has partnered with Dave’s Cakes and they will be getting some of the profits on November 22nd when Dave’s Cakes is set up at Hy-Vee. People can also support this program by giving a donation, they can be dropped off at the Police and Fire station with the note that it is for Shop with a Cop.
