The seasonal routes have started for the Marshalltown Transit services as school has started.  The seasonal routes start at 7:05 and they help students get to school.  Kevin Pigors, Marshalltown Transit Administrator, talks about how to ride the bus.

Pigors says it is important to wave because the driver does not know if you need on the bus or not.  He says the seasonal routes in the morning stop at 8:30 and they switch to their 4 fixed routes.

Riders are able to get daily or monthly passes for unlimited rides, people can find monthly passes at City Hall or Hy-Vee.  Students can apply for a free pass with the school district, people can find that application on the Marshalltown School website.
