The Marshalltown City Council discussed the employment agreement with City Administrator Carol Webb last night.  Webb has been with Marshalltown for just over a year and recently the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem had a meeting to review her work after getting responses from all of the Department heads. Mayor Joel Greer spoke about that review

Mayor Greer also notes how she has dealt with a significant turnover in her leadership team, from Housing and Development to Fire Chief.  As a result of her review Mayor Greer and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Ladehoff discussed her employment contract.

Most employees get a cost of living increase but the City Administrator would get raises beyond that some years.

Webb’s contract now has her here for another 3 years and she now has 5 weeks of vacation which is the same amount she had in her previous job.  The Council voted 7 – 0 to approve the changes in Webb’s contract.
