Bobcat girls tennis has had a bumpy ride this year after 2 seasons of being undefeated in the regular season. The girls faced Des Moines Roosevelt in a match on Tuesday and lost 7 – 4. The girls are back on the courts today as they will host their highway 30 rival, the Ames Little Cyclones. The match is set to start at 4pm today at the Marshalltown High School Court Complex.
Yesterday the Bobcat Boys golf team teed off at the Ankeny Boys Golf Invite with 11 other teams. The Invite was hosted at Otter Creek Golf Course and the Bobcats as a team finished in 9th place with a score of 341. The winner of the Invite was Des Moines Valley with a team score of 279. The Boys now have a long break as they are off until the 15th when they play in Ames at Veenker Memorial Golf Course.
The Bobcat Cross Country teams will run for the 2nd time this season today. Both boys and girls will travel to Ames to run at the Iowa State University Cross Country Course. Their meet is set to start at 4pm.
Tonight is the Apgar Invite for Volleyball. The Bobcats will be hosting Solon, Waterloo Columbus and Waverly-Shell Rock. This is set to start at 5pm in the Marshalltown Roundhouse.
