Following a pair of blowout wins on the road about a month ago against the Railsplitters, the Bobcats took on the Des Moines Lincoln squad at home this time, and while it felt like the Cats were dominant again early, they held just a 3-0 lead heading into the 6th inning aided by a Briley Danielson home run. In the 6th, Lincoln would find the scoreboard on a 2-run homer by Kylie Philips that put the Rails within one, but the Cats would close out the inning on a double play and would add an insurance run in the 6th before Briley Danielson shut things down on the mound rounding out a 4-2 Bobcat win. The Cats now travel to take on the 3rd-ranked Southeast Polk Rams on Saturday evening.
