The Marshalltown YMCA recreation pool will be closed through today and most likely open tomorrow.  The recreation pool needed to be shut down due to maintenance issues, they are now working to balance the chemicals today to be safe to swim in tomorrow.  The lap pool is still open to patrons at the normal times and swimming lessons have moved to the lap pool as well.  The hot tub is still open, it is just the recreation pool that is closed down.  For any more information you can head to their website ymca-ywca.org
