The 13th street district is something that Marshalltown would like to show off to visitors. Whether you want to visit the park, or grab a bite to eat, the 13th street district is a place you can spend the afternoon with your family
That’s business owner John Hermanson. He mentions that he is there with the support of other 13th street district business owners and members of the 13th street district board.
John mentions that this would bring the sidewalks on 13th street up to similar code that the downtown sidewalks will have. The city council voted 6-1 to approve the project to level the sidewalks on the 13th street district.
