Tannin Wine Bar has a special announcement, at the end of the year Tannin will be switching ownership and Mary Curley will be officially retiring.  Gary and Megan Lanfier purchased Tannin Wine bar.  They were not just customers though.

Megan has a lot of experience working in bars, but neither have ever owned a bar before.  When Mary was asked what she will do now that she’s retired she said, “ANYTHING!” with a smile.  She goes on to say this

Gary and Megan take over at the beginning of the new year and Mary will be sticking around for the first quarter to help out with the transition.  Megan then tells us if we should expect any drastic changes.

One of the first things they want to try is a Sunday brunch and new items to the menu.  Looks for subtle changes coming to Tannin Wine Bar in downtown Marshalltown with new ownership coming at the beginning of the new year.
