The state representative who’s new House District 51 includes Marshall County, has announced he will run for re-election

Republican Dave Deyoe currently represents House District 49. Iowa House District 51 includes most of Story and Marshall Counties. Deyoe’s current district, which he will continue to represent through 2022, includes a similar portion of Story County and the southern half of Hardin County.

Deyoe will be seeking his ninth term in the Iowa House. He lives on the family farm near Nevada.
