A fire just after midnight Saturday morning sent at least one  Gilman resident to the hospital.

Gilman Fire and Rescue found a house in flames upon arrival. The house was deemed a total loss, while neighboring houses also suffered some heat and smoke damaged. The injured individual was taken to Unity Point for treatment.
