92 years since it opened, two years since the start of fundraising and one year after hitting the fundraising goal. All those dates are March 15th and that’s the date in 2021 that an Open House will be held to show off the renovated Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum. The Coliseum will be open from noon until six for you to walk through it and see just what the facility now has to offer. Park and Rec Director Geoff Hubbard says they are still working on some items while under a temporary occupancy permit.
As far as the Open House, Park & Rec staff will be on hand to answer questions…and you might also be able to nibble on a cookie or two.
