The reported number of COVID-19 cases continues to show a  steady progression. 421 new cases reported since midday yesterday, along with 19 additional deaths.

Marshall County added 12 new cases for a total of 835, with Tama County adding 7 for 374. Story County added 3 for 86. The statewide number is now 15,954. 434 cases have recovered in Marshall county, 209 in Tama County.

None of the newly reported fatalities were among our Central Iowa counties.
