We don’t know who the finalists will be for the Girls State Basketball championships next week, but there will be at least one winner from our area represented.
The Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA will be honored with the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union Executive Director Award during State. Y CEO Carol Hibbs says the award is really for the entire community.
The award will be presented during halftime of the girls state 3A championship final the evening of March 6th.
