When the Bobcat baseball team takes the field next season, there will be a new head coach for the first in over a quarter of a century.

The Times-Republican reports that Steve Hanson submitted his resignation yesterday to the district, effective immediately.  Hanson’s team won 567 times over his 26-year tenure in Marshalltown.
