Not a bad way for the US Track & Field Championships to wind down yesterday, with a world record.

Dalilah Muhammed broke a 16-year old world record in blazing to the title in the 400 meter hurdles.

Muhammed’s time of 52-point-20 seconds bettered the mark set by Yuliya Pechonkina of Russia back in 2003.
