One of the events that was, for lack of a better term, blown away by last year’s tornado was the Marshalltown Art Festival, which was slated for the courthouse grounds. Tomorrow, the festival will take over the downtown from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. Among the artists displaying wares, Paul Gregorie, formerly of Emerson\Fisher. Paul is retired and will man a booth he’s calling Rock Stars and Guitars. With hand made guitars and portraits including some of his favorite band, the Beatles.
Gregorie just one of the many folks showcasing their talents tomorrow downtown. Some, like Iowa jewelry artist Laura Ross of Barnyard Steamworks, will be donating part of their proceeds back to tornado relief.
