The Marshalltown girls golf couldn’t quite get over the hump to qualify for the State Golf Tourney during yesterday’s Regional meet at the American Legion course in Marshalltown
The Bobcats finished third as a team behind Cedar Falls and Linn-Mar.Just missing the cut for individual placement at state were Amber Henson at 7th, with Kyra Feldman 9th.
Ames lost a tiebreaker to qualify as a team for State, However, two Little Cyclones did make the cut individually, Megan Riesselman and Taylor Balsley.
South Tama’s Madison Rohach qualified for the 3A State tourney in yesterday’s district at Oskaloosa.
