Today is the 86th annual National Day of Prayer around the nation. The last few years, it has been noted with a community program on the lawn at the Marshall County Courthouse. Obviously, the Courthouse grounds are not an option, but Vonna Hayes of the Community Prayer Ministry, says the group felt the urge to do something different. So, it is asking area churches to open up their doors for prayer throughout the day tomorrow.
Hays says the Prayer Ministry is hopeful that the 2020 celebration of the National Day of Prayer will be able to return to the Marshall County Courthouse grounds.
