Yankee’s lefty C.C. Sabathia became the 17th player in MLB history to record 3,000 strikeouts, hitting that number in last night’s game against Arizona.

Sabitha, who says this is his last season at age 38, enhanced his chances for the Hall of Fam,e by hitting that mark. Only 2 other 3,000 K hurlers are not yet in Cooperstown; Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling.
