A fire Sunday evening damaged the 3rd Avenue Coney Restaurant in Marshalltown.
Smoke was pouring out of the roof vents and eaves when firefighters arrived. The eatery was closed at the time of the fire and the estimate of the damage is around $40,000. There were no injuries reported. Marshalltown Fire says the fire was accidental in nature.
