The campaign to raise the final 1 and one third million dollars for the renovation of the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum has received an extra-special jolt.

The Martha Ellen Tye Foundation announced a $400,000 challenge grant for the renovation of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

In order to collect that amount, donations will need to match that 400,000. The City began the capital campaign on March 15, 2019, the 90th anniversary of the dedication of the  Coliseum, with the goal of raising the $1.35 million of a projected $3.6 million renovation.
