The mounting number of snow days for the state’s school district’s there has been some suggestions that online classes might be an alternative for make up dates.    Iowa Department of Education Director Ryan Wise says that won’t be the case, at least this year.

Wise  added it was a subject that likely will be discussed in the future. Some school districts have had 10 or more days of classes cancelled this year by the weather.
