The preliminary autopsy on Corey Brown shows that he died after falling from a tower.

According to Marshalltown Police, the teen died from blunt force trauma after falling from the communications tower on Iowa Avenue East, just about a mile from his home. Among the entities that lease space on that tower is Trending Media, Inc.

Tupper says while toxicology results from the autopsy will not be known for several weeks, he doesn’t believe those will have any bearing on how Brown died. He adds the evidence shows the death of the teen is nothing more than an unfortunate accident.

Services for Corey Brown will be Saturday morning at 10:30 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
