Here we are again…the weekend before New Year’s Eve. Folks making plans to say “see ya” to 2018 and to say, “bout time you’re here” to 2019. But the one thing you don’t want to happen while celebrating, is to…say with it me…don’t drink and drive. Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper wants to you to remember the phrase designated driver, which he says folks around here are pretty good about.

Tupper adds the officers over the weekend and into the New Year’s will be on heightened lookout for the signs that there  is a buzzed driver on the road.
