The candidates were out and about on the final weekend before the mid-term elections.

The Des Moines Register “Iowa Poll” released Saturday night shows Iowa’s governor’s race is tight, with Fred Hubbell leading Kim Reynolds 46 to 44 percent, but well within the margin of error.

Reynolds says the economy is working due to the “partnership” between Republicans in Des Moines and Republicans in Washington, D.C.

Fred Hubbell, the Democratic candidate for governor, held rallies around the state as well.

As of Friday, more than 447-thousand Iowan had already voted by absentee ballot.
