One week and counting until the mid-term elections on November 6th. Nan Benson is in charge of the election process in Marshall County. Since the courthouse was roughed up by the tornado, the annex has been utilized for early voting.
Benson says as of the end of last week, 5,600 votes have been cast. Four years ago in the last mid-terms, the total was 63-hundred, so it would seem more folks are taking advantage of early voting.
