An Ames firefighter will be honored during the 37^th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service on Sunday in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Steven Buser was found unresponsive in the gym on March 17^th of last year while taking part in a daily fitness program after responding to two emergency calls. His name will be added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial on the Fire Academy’s grounds.
