The city will be moving back home and the county motor vehicle department has a new home.

As repairs continue post tornado, the City of Marshalltown’s offices will be returning to City Hall. Offices will be closed at 3:30 this afternoon at the Marshalltown Public Library and will  resume operations at City hall tomorrow afternoon at one.

That also means that Monday’s City Council meeting will be back in Council Chambers.

Also as of today, the Motor Vehicle Division of the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office will be operating on the second floor of the Great Western Bank Building. It had been working out of the State Driver’s License Station at Marshalltown Mall.
