The Marshall County Board of Supervisors yesterday approved short-term Leases with both the Great Western Bank and the Max building for space for services over the next 6 to 12 months. Most CCounty services will be on the second floor of Great Western Bank’s bulding, the court systems from the fourth and fift flor of the courthouse will eventually be consolidated at the Max Building. Supervistor Chair Bill Patten said the work that has been done to get the County back up and running has really been something.
The County Offices at the Great Western Bank Building will be trying out a “soft open” today, county motor vehicle functions will remain, for the moment, at the DOT Drivers License Station at Marshalltown Mall.
