Among items discussed last night at the Marshalltown City Council, was reallocating money for the Central Business District. 40-thousand dollars has been designated for façade renovation, but the CBD is asking those dollars be put back into its general fund. CBD President Nate McCormick says the money will go toward waiving membership fees for the next year.

McCormick adds that the money available will not be limited to only current members of the CBD.
