What do you do with a group of 50 middle school students who are looking to become better students and better leaders in the community? You put them together in Ricochet, a program at Lenihan Middle School in Marshalltown. Associate Principal Liz Jurgansen says the group is not learning about themselves, but about giving back to the community.

The final event for the Ricochet students every year is for them to ask questions of business and community leaders, which will take place in April. KFJB’s very own Kyle Martin will be a part of that panel.
