The goal has almost been reached to move ahead with a new medical center in Hubbard. The community began trying to raise nine hundred thousand dollars just about a year ago and now is within 10 to 15 thousand dollars of that goal. The new medical center would double the size of the existing clinic, which serves approximately three thousand patients.

Denise Martin, President of the Hubbard Community Medical Center Board, says the hope is to begin construction in March and possibly be open in the new center as early as October.
