Ground has been broken for an amphitheater project at Grimes Farm just outside of Marshalltown. Mike Stegmann of the Marshall County Conservation Board says it will be a three tiered amphitheater that will seat 80 people located just north of the main building and will be used for multiple types of outdoor entertainment and educational activities. The project will be done sometime in November.
