The Boys State High School Swim meet is moving from Marshalltown to Iowa City according to the Iowa High School Athletic Association. The event will be jointly hosted by the University of Iowa and three high schools in the Iowa City area. Marshalltown had hosted the boys meet the last 13 years. Marshalltown will continue to host the girls meet which is in November. At the same time of the high school athletic association announced that the State Boys Basketball tournament next March will be a five day event with all of the championship games on a Friday and no games on Saturday as before.
