The Marshalltown City Council will accept and award a bid for concrete demolition and earth moving work for the police and fire station project for the city. The price tag will be 596-thousand dollars. The City is also expected to turn over property at South First Street and West Madison Street to businessman Garrett Goodman who wants to develop the old Standard Oil building at that location.
