The weather is very July 4th like on this Independence Day holiday in the listening area. The high of Monday of 87 in downtown Marshalltown was the warmest it has been in a while. A fine day on the Fourth of July to celebrate. Some parts of the state got some storms Monday, some of the high school softball regional games got postponed and some high school baseball games were shortened.
