The Marshalltown area received 1.68 inches of rain Wednesday, it was most welcome and the humidity in the aftermath was felt Thursday morning in that windshields in cars that left windows rolled down and that sat outside had interiors fogged over with moisture. We had a cooler high if you will Wednesday of 86. But we will be back to muggy weather Thursday with a high forecast to hit 92.
