Two area winners at the Marshalltown Speedway Friday on a nice summer like night to race according to promoter Toby Kruse. Two local winners. They held Colo Bars, and Salute to Firemen night! Charlie Brown of Nevada won the Mod Lites feature, Damon Murty of Chelsea won the Stocks feature, Shannon Anderson of Des Moines won the Hobby Stocks, Todd Cooney of Des Moines the Late Models, Darrin Duffy won the Mods, and Doug Smith of Lake City won the Sport Mods.
