The American Legion Post in Marshalltown will be hosting an event in honor of Vietnam Veterans on Sunday here in Marshalltown. Organizers say the event will be held at one p-m at 1301 South Sixth Street. A former prisoner of war Larry Spencer will be the guest speaker. They intend to have the event outdoors at the Freedom Rock. Four families will receive Gold Star pins and and certificates of honor.
