The Marshall County Board of Supervisors will talk about the issue of new state fireworks laws as they meet Tuesday at the Courthouse in Marshalltown. The meeting is at 9-am. New state laws permit the sale of fireworks during two time frames a year starting June first which is Thursday. Different locales have passed local ordinances about use but the sale of fireworks has been legalized by the state.
