Another one of the businesses in Marshalltown that was close to the Villager apartment building that caught fire last Friday night took on a bit of damage.
Show Room Auto, a business that is multi faceted is just northeast of the apartment building and had a bit of smoke and physical damage but workers there say they are simply glad no one was hurt.
They made a few adjustments to insure that customers could continue to get access to thier operation.
Meanwhile fire officials say that there will be a demolition effort Thursday on the Villager apartment building to get it knocked down and insure safety in the aftermath.
Already utility work is has been taking place on North Center Street that has blocked off the street from State to Grant. The water and gas access to the Villager was being shut off for safeties sake as well.
